Apostles Lutheran's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Joseph Zhang led the charge by scoring 9 points along with 12 steals. Zhang is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Nick Borja was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 5 rebounds.
The win got Apostles Lutheran back to even at 2-2. As for Mid-Peninsula, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Apostles Lutheran will look to defend their home court on Monday against Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. As for Mid-Peninsula, they will head out on the road to face off against Eastside College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
