Emerson won the last time they faced Centennial and things went their way on Monday too. The Emerson Mavericks put the hurt on the Centennial Titans with a sharp 14-2 victory. The Mavericks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by nine runs or more this season.
Addison Hudnall made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). What's more, she gave up only zero walks, the fewest she's had since back in February. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Ellie Thurman was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Gianna Lipsky was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.
