It was a good run, but The Hamady Hawks unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Friday. They took a serious blow against Corunna, falling 45-7. The low total for Hamady limited their streak of high-flying scores to five in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Corunna to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaden Edington, who rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns. Tarick Bower was in the mix as well, providing Corunna with two touchdowns.
Hamady's loss dropped their record down to 9-1-1. As for Corunna, their victory was their 11th straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 10-0.
Hamady does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Corunna will take on Notre Dame Prep at TBD on Friday. Notre Dame Prep is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
