Kodiak lost against Susitna Valley on Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Saturday. The Bears fell just short of the Rams by a score of  2-1. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
 Maggie Hubert paced Kodiak's offense, picking up four kills. Hubert got some help from  Fremela Garcia and her seven assists.  Angeli Doctolero controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Kodiak's loss dropped their record down to 5-26-3. As for Susitna Valley, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Kodiak and Palmer will shake off the rust and duke it out  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Susitna Valley, they will take on Lumen Christi at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. This will  be the Rams' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
