Frierson dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten steals, while Mitchell scored 22 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The contest was Frierson's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaz Reyes, who scored nine points along with four steals.
Manning's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Hartsville, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.
Manning won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Goose Creek at 6:30 p.m. on December 29, 2023. Hartsville and Lake City will face off at 4:30 p.m. on December 29, 2023 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Hannah Riles and Frierson.
