Robertson is a perfect 10-0 against St. Michael since June of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cardinals will challenge the Horsemen at 4:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.
It was a proper cat-fight when Robertson faced off against Tularosa on Saturday. The Cardinals' pitcher stepped up to hand the Wildcats an 8-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but the Cardinals sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Tularosa's batters probably weren't too happy with Ariana Sanchez, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 15 Ks (she gave up a single walk). Those 15 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for Sanchez.
At the plate, Robertson saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amor Allen, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Sarai Allen also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Robertson kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2024.
Meanwhile, St. Michael's hadn't done well against Hope Christian recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Horsemen put the hurt on the Huskies with a sharp 16-1 win. Considering the Horsemen have won 15 contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Nadia Cedillo made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Karolina Ruiz was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times she's played. Jaslene Ramirez was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Robertson's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-9. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for St. Michael's, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-1.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Robertson has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.6 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like St. Michael's struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 6.9 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Everything went Robertson's way against St. Michael's in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Robertson made off with a 16-4 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
