After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Windham RVT, the Grasso Tech Eagles were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They came out on top against Vinal RVT by a score of 64-53. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Grasso Tech also won the last time the pair played back in January.
It was another big night for Nick Stavesky, who scored 32 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Charis Johnson, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Grasso Tech's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-7. As for Vinal RVT, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-14.
Grasso Tech will be playing in front of their home fans against Cheney RVT at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Cheney RVT is coming into the match with four straight wins on the road, meaning Grasso Tech will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. As for Vinal RVT, they will challenge Norwich RVT at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
