Hilton Head Christian Academy added to the longest winning streak in SCISA AA Region II this week by beating Palmetto Christian Academy, 45-26. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Eagles.
Northwood Academy lost to Florence Christian 48-20 last week, the largest margin of any game. Will Lloyd threw for 249 yards and 3 touchdowns in the defeat.
Northwood Academy's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Trevor McNeil chipped in 20 yards. Micah Loudin helped Northwood Academy's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 54 yards.
He went 20-32 with 1 interception.
Loudin made the biggest impact on defense this week as Philip Keefe's team lost to Florence Christian. He recorded 1 fumble.
McNeil was the best running back in the league this week. In 5 carries, he ran for 20 yards as the Chargers fell to Florence Christian.
Northwood Academy's Lloyd and Dwight have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Lloyd has thrown for 2,026 yards this season, while Dwight has 43 catches for 890 yards. J.T. Waters from Palmetto Christian Academy leads the league in rushing with 2,278 yards.
