Saunders Trades & Tech's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alex Vazquez, who scored 25 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Micheal Patterson, who scored 22 points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Port Chester's victory ended a eight-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-11. As for Saunders Trades & Tech, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Port Chester will play host again and welcome Lincoln, where tip off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln is hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses. As for Saunders Trades & Tech, they will be playing at home against Ketcham at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
