The West Carroll Thunder's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fifth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Stockton, falling 71-24. West Carroll was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-10.
Madie Mammoser continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Stockton, scoring eight points along with 13 rebounds and seven assists. Mammoser is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Katelyn Winters, who scored 19 points along with two steals.
West Carroll has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for Stockton, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-9.
West Carroll will take on Warren at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Stockton, they will head out on the road to face off against River Ridge/Scales Mound at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
