After soaring to 14 runs the game before, Tampa Catholic was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Calvary Christian Warriors. The Crusaders' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Jada Johnson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Lillie Bridges, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Tampa Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Calvary Christian, the win keeps they at an undefeated 12-0.

Coming up, Tampa Catholic will be playing in front of their home fans against Palm Harbor University at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Tampa Catholic has won four straight at home, while Palm Harbor University won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Calvary Christian, they will venture away from home to challenge Branford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
