Fair Haven had lost five games on the road dating back to last season, but after bumping their record up to 2-8 on Wednesday that streak is in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over the Windsor Yellowjackets. The Slaters have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Yellowjackets, too.
Tori Raymond made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Raymond was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.
