After flying high against the Gainesville Christian Community Warriors on Tuesday, the Cedar Key Sharks came back down to earth. Cedar Key wound up with the same score they had in their last game (54-34), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They lost against Branford in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 59-46 score last time.
Branford found their leader in underclassman Keara Hunt, who scored 20 points. Hunt set a new season high mark in points with 20. Another player making a difference was Amyah James , who scored 11 points.
Cedar Key's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Branford, their win bumped their record up to an identical 2-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cedar Key will take on Bronson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Bronson is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Branford, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Countryside Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 14th.
