North Hopkins's hitters rose to the challenge against a Blue Devils pitching crew that boasted an average of only 3.83 runs allowed on Tuesday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Celeste Blue Devils with a sharp 12-1 victory. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

North Hopkins pushed their record up to 17-3 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Celeste, their loss dropped their record down to 9-2-1.

Looking ahead, North Hopkins will square off against Cooper at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Celeste will be paying especially close attention to the Panthers' match: after the Panthers faces off against the Bulldogs, they'll take on Celeste again at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
