The White Oak Vikings waltzed into their game on Friday with five straight wins but they left with six. They claimed a resounding 76-41 victory over Dixon on the road. With White Oak ahead 43-19 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead White Oak to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaemon Noel, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Curtis Jackson, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.
White Oak pushed their record up to 15-3 with that victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.7 points per game. As for Dixon, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.
White Oak will be playing in front of their home fans against Swansboro at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Swansboro has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,141 points over their last 15 games. As for Dixon, they will head out on the road to face off against West Carteret at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Carteret presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Dixon in North Carolina (West Carteret is ranked 233rd, while Dixon is ranked 513th).
