Austyn Hatch paced St. David's offense, picking up six kills. Hatch got some help from Emma Hart and her six assists. Paisley Gooding and Paige Evans kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.
Horizon Honors found their leader in sophomore Harper Vanderwall, who had 20 assists and three digs.
St. David's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Horizon Honors, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. David will challenge Benson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Horizon Honors, they will take on Cicero Prep Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
