The Tyler Knights will take on the Cameron Dragons at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
While Tyler's win against Ravenswood wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights had just enough and edged out the Red Devils 7-6. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Red Devils recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Tyler saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Neff, who went 3-for-6 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. Neff has become a key player for the Knights: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least one home run, but 11-14 otherwise.
Meanwhile, Cameron hadn't done well against Madonna recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Dragons came out on top against the Blue Dons by a score of 7-3.
Zayde Long made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Long was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kason Angel, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Talen Brown was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Cameron's win bumped their record up to 21-5. As for Tyler, their victory bumped their record up to 13-15.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Tyler has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.3 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Cameron struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Tyler skirted past Cameron 2-1 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Dragons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
