With a playoff win on the line, San Jacinto rose to the challenge on Saturday. They blew past the Eisenhower Eagles 14-3. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
San Jacinto got a massive performance out of Keyera Cameron, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamorah Johnson, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: San Jacinto kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are 9-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
The win (which was San Jacinto's third in a row) raised their record to 12-12. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Eisenhower, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-7.
As of now, neither San Jacinto nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
