Meanwhile, Everglades City couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a serious blow against Donahue Catholic on Tuesday, falling 58-10. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Everglades City in their matchups with Donahue Catholic: they've now lost four in a row.
Palmetto Ridge's victory bumped their season record to 4-2 while Immokalee's defeat dropped theirs to 1-6.
