Southwestern saw some tournament action on Friday. They walked away with a 53-43 victory over the Traders Point Christian Knights. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Traders Point Christian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Josh Dafler, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 12 points, and Quentin Jones, who posted nine points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kam Reese, who had seven points.

Southwestern's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Traders Point Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Southwestern wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 61-53 loss against New Washington on the 28th. As for Traders Point Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 72-54 victory against Tri-Township on the 28th.
