After losing to Ionia the last time they met, St. Johns decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The St. Johns Redwings came out on top against the Ionia Bulldogs by a score of 52-44 on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Redwings who have now won three contests in a row.

St. Johns' win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Ionia, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Johns will face off against Williamston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Johns is facing Williamston at the right time seeing as Williamston is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Ionia, they will challenge Portland at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Portland will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Ionia surely won't give up without a fight.
