 Vestaburg was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .393. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Carson City-Crystal only posted a  batting average of  .200.
 Webberville couldn't beat Dansville  on Tuesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the fifth inning. The Spartans fell just short of the Aggies by a score of  9-7. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Spartans in their meetings with the Aggies: they've now lost four in a row.
 Vestaburg pushed their record up to 11-1 with the  victory, which was their sixth straight  on the road. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Webberville, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
