Avon Lake was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from seventh to fourth in Southwestern. The Shoremen vanquished Lorain 56-7 earlier in the week.
Brecksville-Broadview Heights moved up to 83 from 163 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Bees were able to make move up by beating North Royalton 28-0.
Steele's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Anthony Eliopoulos threw for 148 yards and Joe D'Andrea had 66 yards receiving. On the ground Logan Mahar chipped in 67 yards. Nathan Nunez helped Steele's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 38 yards.
