Monument Valley can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 62-23 win over Monticello. That 39 points margin sets a new team best for Monument Valley this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Monument Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Shikeeya Hudson, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Shimequa Hudson, who scored 15 points.
Meanwhile, Red Mesa came up short against Rock Point on Saturday and fell 61-51.
Monument Valley pushed their record up to 14-1 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.4 points per game. As for Red Mesa, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season.
