Bellwood-Antis couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. Their  rough  13-6 defeat to the Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers  on Tuesday might stick with them for a while. The  loss means Bellwood-Antis is still on the hunt for the season's first 'W'.

 On Hollidaysburg's side,  Brady Steiner and  Carson Kensinger made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing,  Steiner   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (he also only allowed one  walk). Meanwhile,  Kensinger   struck out nine batters over  3.2 innings while giving up  three earned  (and two unearned) runs off   five  hits (and only one walk). At the plate,  Steiner  scored a  run while going 2-for-5, while  Kensinger  got on base  in all five of his plate appearances with  an  RBI.
 In other batting news, Hollidaysburg let  Ethan Karageanes and  Justin Herman loose on the outfield. Karageanes  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances, while  Herman  went 1-for-3 with three  RBI and a  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jake Hileman, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Bellwood-Antis will head out on the road to  challenge  Huntingdon at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Bellwood-Antis has given up an average of 13 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Hollidaysburg, they will head out on the road to  take on  Bald Eagle Area at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
