The Lawrenceville Indians's game last Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 46-39 win over Red Hill. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Lawrenceville also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lawrenceville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kenidee Boldt, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Boldt hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Addeline Sanders, who scored 16 points.
Lawrenceville's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-18. As for Red Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-15.
Lawrenceville will be playing in front of their home fans against North Clay/Clay City at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Lawrenceville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Monday. As for Red Hill, they will head out on the road to face off against Martinsville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Red Hill is coming into the game with four straight defeats on the road, meaning Martinsville will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory.
