The biggest upset of the week belonged to Elk County Catholic, who took down 282nd ranked Curwensville, 13-12. Brock Mccullough ran for 92 yards in the win.
Brockway extended the longest winning streak in Allegheny Mountain - Southern this week by beating Johnsonburg, 59-33. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
The Golden Tide's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Hunter McCracken threw for 87 and one touchdown and Jordan Russell had 63 yards receiving. On the ground Zach Tibbins chipped in 137 yards. Brad Stubbs helped Curwensville's passing attack out by catching one ball for 18 yards.
On the ground, Curwensville's Tibbins has rushed for 1134 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Russell. The Curwensville star has 44 catches for 588 yards.
The Crusaders made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,607 from 8,095. The advance stemmed from a 13-12 victory over Andy Evanko's team last week.
