Grant's game  last Thursday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Monroe Vikings 75-25. The Lancers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine  games by 28  points or more this season.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grant to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Corbin Powell, who  almost  dropped  a double-double with 13  points and nine  boards. The dominant performance gave  Powell a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of  RONALD MERRILL, who  en route to 12  points and seven  assists.
Grant now  has a winning record of 14-13. As for Monroe, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record  this season.
 Grant has already played their next match,  a  76-71  win against Dorsey on the 20th. As for Monroe, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  62-26  defeat against Roosevelt on the 20th.
