Defeat or not, Shadow Hills got some senior leadership from Jojo Diaz and Pedro Trujillo. Diaz rushed for 168 yards and two touchdowns, while Trujillo threw for 276 yards and a touchdown. Those 276 passing yards set a new season-high mark for Trujillo. Brandon Peffers also helped out with an impressive 138 receiving yards.

Pellum threw for 155 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 passes while Daft picked up 73 receiving yards and a touchdown. An impressive showing, but Daft really ramped things up playing D: he forced a fumble and made four total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.
Shadow Hills' loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Xavier Prep, their win bumped their record up to 4-5-1.
Shadow Hills will host El Segundo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Cole Castillo and Diaz. Xavier Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
