While Coalinga put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Tranquillity. The Horned Toads were the clear victors by an 18-0 margin over the Tigers. The Horned Toads might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by nine runs or more this season.

Brooklyn Davis was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sophie Walker, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Ericka Pereyra, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs.

Coalinga always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .730. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Coalinga has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Tranquillity, they dropped their record down to 0-14 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coalinga has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Dos Palos on the 25th. As for Tranquillity, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 13-0 loss against Avenal on the 25th.
