Corona/Vaughn found their leader in underclassman Harper Dunn, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 18 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Dunn has scored at least a third of Corona/Vaughn's points. Another player making a difference was Kourtney Brandenberger, who scored eight points along with nine steals.
Corona/Vaughn pushed their record up to 6-3 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Lake Arthur, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
