Bellevue Christian will challenge Friday Harbor on the road at 6:30 PM on Friday. Bellevue Christian is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.
Last Saturday, Bellevue Christian couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They might be aching after a bruising 12-33 loss to Life Christian Academy. Bellevue Christian were down by 6-26 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Friday Harbor had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They and South Whidbey were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered an agonizing 19-20 defeat.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the win. If Friday Harbor want to win, Friday Harbor will need to focus on stopping Bellevue Christian's senior Davis Hazen, who, and freshman Samuel Cornett, who accumulated 179 passing yards and punched in 1 rushing TD. We'll see whether or not they are up to the challenge.
