Volleyball Recap: Hinsdale Central's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Two

If Addison Trail wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Hinsdale Central, they should've done a better job of containing Harry Hughes. The Red Devils came out on top against the Blazers by a score of 2-0 on Friday with plenty of help from Hughes, who had three digs and one block. He is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 14 or more in each of the last four games he's played.

The win made it two in a row for Hinsdale Central and bumps their season record up to 7-18. As for Addison Trail, their loss dropped their record down to 9-13.

Looking ahead, Hinsdale Central will challenge Willowbrook at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Addison Trail, they will be taking part in a tournament against Riverside-Brookfield at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Blazers surely won't give up without a fight.
