The Mesick Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Marion Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Mesick scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They managed a 47-43 victory over Baldwin. That's two games straight that Mesick has won by exactly four points.
Among those leading the charge was Cassie Sexton, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. She also grabbed two+ steals for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayla McCoy, who scored 11 points along with seven steals.
Meanwhile, Marion didn't have too much trouble with Mason County Eastern at home on Thursday as they won 46-28.
Mesick's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4. As for Marion, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Mesick took a serious blow against Marion in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 57-16. The game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Mesick was down 28-4.
