Strake Jesuit now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Alief Elsik, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.

Everything went Strake Jesuit's way against Alief Elsik in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Strake Jesuit made off with an 11-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Strake Jesuit since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
