Alex Brehmer and Taylor Fuston provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Scribner-Snyder. The connection was good for 55 yards, the longest such play in D2 District 3 (8 Man) this season.
St. Francis added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Humphrey, 32-8. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
Brehmer threw for 168 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Dakota Riecken was the best wideout in the league this week as Lyons-Decatur Northeast bested the Trojans. Riecken tallied 5 receptions for 58 yards. Marcus Hegy helped Lyons-Decatur Northeast's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 55 yards.
Lyons-Decatur Northeast's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Cougars feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Brehmer has thrown for 621 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, while Riecken has 17 catches for 310 yards. Brehmer also leads the league in rushing with 1,526 yards.
Brayden Frauendorfer of the Holy Family is only 28 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 89 carries Frauendorfer has put up 972 yards this year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Bancroft-Rosalie takes on St. Francis. The Panthers are currently in fifth, while Eric Kessler's team is in second.
The Bulldogs took down Banner County 74-20 last week, the largest margin of any game.
