The Seton Catholic Central Knights won against the Keene Central Beavers last Wednesday with 38 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. Seton Catholic Central strolled past Keene Central with points to spare, taking the game 38-19. Winning may never get old, but Seton Catholic Central sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Grace Trombley was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. She also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriella Conti, who scored nine points along with eight steals.
Seton Catholic Central's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-6. As for Keene Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
Seton Catholic Central will be playing at home against Lake Placid at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Keene Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Indian Lake Central at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams have allowed few points on average, (Indian Lake Central: 28.9, Keene Central: 29.1) so any points scored will be well earned.
