Despite the loss, Dunellen saw an underclassman step up: Wendy Woll scored 14 points along with five rebounds. The contest was Woll's fifth in a row with at least ten points.
Middlesex has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season. As for Dunellen, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.
Middlesex will head out on the road to face off against Edison at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Edison is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak. As for Dunellen, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Wardlaw Hartridge at 4:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024. Wardlaw Hartridge will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings (they are ranked 90th, while Dunellen is ranked 17th).
