The biggest upset of the week belonged to Springfield, who took down 517th ranked Springfield, 34-12. Devine Redding ran for 189 yards in the win.
Crestview extended the longest winning streak in Inter-Tri-County - Large this week by beating East Palestine, 63-0. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Rebels.
Crestview's dynamic duo of Collin Gilbert and Dimitri Gregory proved tough for the Bulldogs to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Gilbert threw for 120 yards and three touchdowns and Gregory had 39 yards receiving. Kris Simpson helped Crestview's passing attack out by catching three balls for 31 yards.
5-foot-10 quarterback Jonathan Baker of Mineral Ridge is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1082. He has also thrown 11 touchdowns. On the ground, Paul Cusick's team's Nick Blower has rushed for 1428 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Gregory. The Crestview star has 14 catches for 383 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Crestview takes on second place South Range. The Rebels topped East Palestine last week, while South Range bested David Anderson.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Raiders take on Crestview. South Range has allowed 179 points this season, while the Rebels have given up 100. Dan Yeagley's team allowed 12 points last week as it topped the Blue Devils.
The Rams moved up to 497 from 532 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Inter-Tri-County - Large. Mineral Ridge was able to make move up by defeating the Tigers 34-12.
