The Hickman County Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Perry County Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hickman County will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
Hickman County posted their biggest win yet this season on Friday. They put the hurt on East Hickman County with a sharp 53-28 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Hickman County has posted against East Hickman County since December 14, 2018.
Meanwhile, Perry County pushed their score all the way to 60 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a hard 75-60 fall against Wayne County. While losing is never fun, Perry County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 289th, while Wayne County is ranked 144th).
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Colton Pevahouse, who scored 14 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jake Mercer, who scored 18 points.
Hickman County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Perry County, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.
