Volleyball Recap: Seabreeze Wins Going Away Against Deltona

Seabreeze had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Deltona on Thursday. The Sandcrabs blew past the Wolves 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Sandcrabs in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won five in a row.

Seabreeze not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Deltona between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 25-17.

Lilli Litz was nothing short of spectacular: she had ten digs and seven aces. Those seven aces gave her a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Seabreeze was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Deltona only served four aces.

Defeat or not, Deltona got some senior leadership from Kenadie Suarez and Jenah Redmond. Suarez had 17 digs and four assists, while Redmond had 14 assists and 12 digs. Suarez has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Seabreeze's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Deltona, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Seabreeze has already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Father Lopez on the 26th. As for Deltona, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Trinity Christian Academy on the 25th.
