On Wednesday, the Mt. Carmel Sundevils kept a clean sheet against the Ramona Bulldogs. They had just enough and edged the Bulldogs out 1-0. Connor Milligan had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Mt. Carmel.
The victory makes it two in a row for Mt. Carmel and bumps their season record up to 8-6-3. As for Ramona, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-13-2.
Mt. Carmel will head out on the road to face off against San Marcos at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ramona, they will be playing at home against Mission Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ramona's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for eight straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
