On Friday Albany will take on Archbishop Hannan at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Albany, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
Albany entered their matchup against Sumner last Thursday without any home losses -- but there's a first time for everything. Albany fell to Sumner 13-21. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Albany.
Meanwhile, Archbishop Hannan might be getting used to good results now that the squad has seven wins in a row. Everything came up roses for them against Thomas Jefferson as the team secured a 42-0 victory. The Archbishop Hannan offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Archbishop Hannan's win lifted them to 7-0 while Albany's loss dropped them down to 5-2. The Albany defense got after the quarterback against Sumner to the tune of four sacks, so Archbishop Hannan's offensive line better have put in some good practice this past week in preparation for the contest.
