Hill School is 5-0 against Solebury since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Hill School Rams will look to defend their home court against the Solebury Spartans at 4:45 p.m. Hill School will be strutting in after a win while Solebury will be coming in after a loss.
Hill School had to endure a four-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They snuck past Blair Academy with a 53-49 victory on Saturday. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Hill School has managed all season.
Meanwhile, Solebury pushed their score all the way to 74 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Phelps by a score of 77-74. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Solebury has suffered yet this season.
Despite the defeat, Solebury had strong showings from Tyler Simpson, who scored 36 points, and Joell Idrovo, who scored 27 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Simpson has scored all season.
Hill School's win bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Solebury, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
Hill School strolled past Solebury in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 by a score of 74-58. Does Hill School have another victory up their sleeve, or will Solebury turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
