The Adamson Leopards will head out on the road to square off against the White Longhorns at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Adamson is no doubt hoping to put an end to a 16-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
On Tuesday, Adamson was beaten by Kimball 87-32. While losing is never fun, Adamson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1368th, while Kimball is ranked 253rd).
Meanwhile, White came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 47.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 67-48 victory over Kimball.
Adamson has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-19 record this season. As for White, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.
Adamson was dealt a bruising 96-32 defeat at the hands of White when the teams last played back in January. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Adamson was down 48-14.
