It was a good run, but the Lincoln Christian Bulldogs unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of Stilwell by a score of 50-47. Lincoln Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Stilwell apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Lincoln Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hallie Kitchen, who scored 5 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Kayli Atkinson was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 5 rebounds.
Lincoln Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Stilwell, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Lincoln Christian will be playing at home against Rejoice Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stilwell, they will head out on the road to face off against Poteau at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Poteau comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
