Despite their defeat, St. Martin saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Ty'Lah Whitlock, who scored four points along with 12 rebounds and three steals, was perhaps the best of all. Tony Mora was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
St. Martin struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, D'Iberville's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 48-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Harrison Central.
St. Martin's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for D'Iberville, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season.
