On Saturday, Lincoln came up short against Wayne and fell 47-40. Lincoln has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Wayne's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jonilyah Chambers led the charge by scoring 12 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Janaya Lenoir, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Lincoln has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Wayne, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln will square off against Westerville Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wayne is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Miamisburg at 7:30 p.m. on January 3rd.
