Despite the loss, Cedar Cliff still got an impressive performance from Landon Howell, who rushed for 116 yards and a pair of scores. Howell is becoming a predictor of the Colts' success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 2-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't).
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead State College to victory, but perhaps none more so than D'Antae Sheffey, who rushed for 152 yards and three TDs while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. Sheffey's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 115 rushing yards. Another player making a difference was Connor Kulka, who threw for 179 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 14 passes.
Cedar Cliff now has a losing record of 3-4. As for State College, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.
