Legacy is 0-7 against Desert Pines since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. Having just played yesterday, the Legacy Longhorns will jump right back in to play the Desert Pines Jaguars at 10:30 a.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Desert Pines' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Prince Davis led the charge by scoring 18 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Damonte Duhart, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds.
Legacy pushed their record up to 16-7 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.5 points per game. As for Desert Pines, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-8 record this season.
Legacy ended up a good deal behind Desert Pines when the teams last played back in November of 2022, losing 71-57. Thankfully for Legacy, Evan Tatum (who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
